LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the start of 65 services under “Maryam Ki Dastak” in all districts of the province by December 2024.

By August 2024, she gave the order to raise the number of services in Lahore to 40, and subsequently to 65.

Chairman PITB briefed the CM on the extended plan for the “Maryam Ki Dastak” initiative. “Maryam Ki Dastak” services will begin in every division on August 14, he said. “Maryam Ki Dastak” will provide access to the services of the following departments: development authorities, police, revenue, municipalities, excise, TMA, and excise.

He gave a briefing, saying, “You can use the Dastak app to access services like domicile, e-stamping, birth, death, marriage certificates, property tax, token tax, motor vehicle transfer, and new vehicle registration facility.”

“Citizens can apply for these services through an appointment with a representative of ‘Maryam Ki Dastak,’ web portal, mobile app, or call center 1202,” an additional briefing was given.

Furthermore, the CM stated, “Today is a day to recognize extraordinary services of women diplomats around the world,” in her statement on the occasion of the “International Day for Women in Diplomacy.”

She claimed that women’s leadership and opinions add a special and vital dimension of empathy and tenacity to diplomatic endeavors, making women’s roles in diplomacy crucial in advancing peace.
