LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to discontinue the Friday holiday, making Friday a regular working day across the province.
According to sources, government affairs will be conducted as usual on Friday, and all public offices will remain open in accordance with the new decision.
Officials said that office activities will continue normally in all government departments, including the Civil Secretariat, with employees required to perform their duties as per the regular schedule.
The decision means that government institutions throughout Punjab will observe Friday as a standard working day, ensuring the continuation of official operations and public services without interruption.
Further details regarding the implementation of the revised working schedule are expected to be issued by the relevant authorities.
