Punjab govt announces 5-day Eid holidays

LAHORE: The Punjab govt has announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays 2026. According to the notification issued, the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will be observed from 19th March to 21st March.

However, Sunday will remain the regular weekly day, whereas Monday will be observed as Pakistan Day, thus making 5 holidays together.

Earlier, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has announced Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 holidays. According to the official notification issued, the AJK govt has announced two holidays for Eid celebrations.

The official notification stated that AJK will observe two holidays, i.e., on 20th March and 21st March, 2026.
