Punjab govt shares latest update on salary before Eid ul Adha 2024

ISLAMABAD: The government of Punjab has decided not to give an advance salary before Eidul Azha, here on Thursday.

As per valid sources, the Maryam Nawaz-led government has announced that it will not issue salaries in advance to provincial government employees.
Sources have claimed that government employees across the province will spend Eidul Azha without a salary.

The Punjab Finance Department will not release the salaries to government employees. Like Eid-ul-Fitr, no advance salary will be given on Eid-ul-Azha.

Eid ul Adha Holidays 2024

The official 2024 holiday calendar has scheduled Eid ul Adha holidays from June 17 to 19. With government offices usually closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), the Eid 2024 holiday will start on June 15.
