CM Maryam Nawaz inaugurates ‘Clinics on Wheels’ project in Punjab

Punjab govt launches 'Clinic on Wheels' for easy medical access

LAHORE: In another attempt to facilitate citizens of Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the Clinics on Wheels Project in Lahore today.

Under the project, 200 Clinics on Wheels will provide health facilities to four million people in the province.

Addressing the ceremony, the Chief Minister said these clinics will be deployed in densely populated areas of big cities where residents often face challenges in accessing hospital care.

Furthermore, she added that the provincial government is taking health facilities to the people’s doorsteps.

Ruling PML-N’s official X handle wrote, “After the successful launch of the field hospital, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also inaugurated the Clinics on Wheels service to provide more facilities to the people.”

Maryam Nawaz also announced to provide state of the art cardiology facilities in eight cities of Punjab including Mianwali, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Jhelum, Sahiwal, Murree, and Layyah.
