Punjab govt updates curriculum for Class 9 & 11; Details inside

LAHORE: The Punjab government has issued a notification approving the change of the educational curriculum for the new year of classes 9th and 11th.

According to the notification issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Education of the government of Punjab has given formal approval to change the educational curriculum of Classes 9 and 11 run by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board.

According to the notification, the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board has been instructed to print books under the new syllabus for classes 9 and 11.

The notification has been issued by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, under which new books will be printed for the upcoming academic year.

As per the notification, the English, Urdu, Islamic Studies, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics syllabus has been changed. The syllabus of biology and computer science has also been changed. In the notification, it has been stated that the students of class 10 will study Pakistan in the new syllabus.
