LAHORE: If you are seeking to enter the law and order sector, now is the time to secure yourself a position in the Punjab Police with fresh recruitment. The police department is trying to fill 5960 constable positions to improve the law and order situation in the state.
This exercise is in line with the initiative taken by the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority to stop illegal encroachments across the state. This process has already begun, and the application procedure and selection criteria will be announced shortly.
The primary focus of the recruitment is the tackling of illegal encroachments and the implementation of inbound law and order in the region. Interested aspirants must keep themselves updated for further announcements and instructions as the process proceeds.
An interesting note is that the Punjab Police announced the recruitment of 1746 constables a few months back, with applications starting from February 21, 2025, to March 13, 2025.
The eligibility criteria stipulate that the minimum age for the post applied is 18, and the maximum age is 28, 10+2 education or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
The selection of candidates for these positions will be done based on the written examination, physical efficiency test, physical standard test, medical examination, document verification, and the final merit list.
