Punjab Police sees major shake-up over 55 officers transferred & posted

LAHORE: Punjab Police witnessed departmental restructuring and appointments on the basis of promotion with transfers and postings of 34 Assistant Directors, 21 Superintendents and 4 Assistants in various branches, units and districts.

According to an official notification, at least 24 recently promoted Assistant Directors and 19 promoted Superintendents have been given new responsibilities to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen administrative oversight in the country’s most populous region.

Assistant Directors Muhammad Ashiq and Hafiz Naveed Asghar have been posted at CCPO Office Lahore. Superintendents Maqsood Alam, Maryam Yousaf and Neelma Farooq have also been posted at CCPO Office Lahore.

Assistant Director Kashif Ali will serve at CCD Headquarters Lahore, while Ghulam Murtaza has joined the Police National Volunteer Welfare Branch. Iftikhar Anwar has been posted at Admin Branch Lahore.

Ahmed Naveed Malik’s newly appointed officers in the Logistics Branch Lahore Imran Azam and Mehwish Zameer have reached the Special Branch Headquarters Lahore. Muhammad Afzal Akbar and Muhammad Tahir have been transferred to the CCD Headquarters and Adnan Noshir and Kulsoom Yousuf have also been transferred to the CCD Headquarters.

All the newly appointed officers have been directed to take charge immediately.
