Rahim Yar Khan: Dangerous dacoit killed during katch area operation

RAHIM YAR KHAN: As Punjab police intensify operation against Katcha dacoits in the Machka area of Rahim Yar Khan district, the most wanted dacoit Farooq Shar killed during the operation, police said on Monday.

Police claimed to have killed four robbers including Farooq Shar in two days in Rahim Yar Khan’s Katcha area where police targeted the hideouts of the Shar gang with heavy weapons. So far, police have killed more than 10 robbers in different operations.

District Police Officer (DPO) Rahim Yar Khan Rizwan Gondal said that armored vehicles and advanced technology were used in the operation.

 

He said that in the targeted operations of the Punjab Police against the Shar gang in Machchika, the dangerous bandits Farooq Shar, along with Alam Shar, Nazir Shar, and Hakim Sar have been killed so far, while 7 accused were also injured.
