Honda, Toyota Pakistan share latest updates for car price cuts

KARACHI: Amidst the recent decline in prices of several cars, major companies, including Kia, Peugeot, Suzuki, and chery, announced price reductions last week.

As Suzuki and other companies lowered prices, people were looking at Toyota and Honda, the two Japanese auto giants, for the reduction in their car prices.

Sources privy to the development told Daily Ausaf that Toyota has decided to stay out of the recent market competition and reiterated its commitment to fairness in pricing and stability amidst market fluctuations. Indus Motor Company emphasized that it will not be lowering price changes to boost sales.

Moreover, reliable sources within Honda Atlas Cars Ltd (HACL) responded that auto giant has decided to maintain its current prices in Pakistan. Hondat Ltd was being approached by numerous dealers regarding recent reports of price reducion.

The company’s dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in its pledge to pass on any possible advantages to its customers, ensuring transparency and reliability in their pricing policies throughout, the company official said. 

After the recent clarification by the Japanese automaker, it has no immediate plans to lower the price of its vehicles, fans of the brand should continue to be patient. The market has been excited by the recent price reductions, which indicate a good change in the somewhat sluggish market that has been impacted by the nation’s unpredictable political and economic conditions over the previous few years.
