Rajab moon sighted in Pakistan; Shab-e-Meraj to be observed on Jan 28

ISLAMABAD: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Wednesday that the moon of Rajab 1446 AH has been sighted in Pakistan.

As per the details, this announcement was made by the Chairman of the Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Islamabad.

The Chairman confirmed the sighting of the Rajab moon in the light of deliberations and evidence from different parts of Pakistan.

The Committee announced that the first day of Rajab will be observed on Thursday, January 2, 2024.

In addition, Shab-e-Meraj will be observed on January 28, 2025 (Tuesday).
