Ramadan moon sighting in Pakistan expected on THIS date!

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the Ramadan moon will be sighted on March 1 and the first fast will be on March 2.

According to the department’s announcement, the moon will be sighted on February 28 at 5:45 PM, which will mark the beginning of the Islamic month of Ramadan.

The sighting of the new moon on March 1 is expected to confirm the start of the holy month.

Globally, media outlets have also suggested that the Ramadan moon is likely to be sighted on February 28 in countries like the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf countries, with March 1 being the starting point for Ramadan in these regions.

In Pakistan, the first fast is likely to be on March 2 depending on the sighting of the moon in different parts of the country.

With millions of Muslims across Pakistan gearing up for the start of the holy month, expectations are high on the announcement.
