Saudi Airline Hajj flight makes emergency landing in Karachi due to technical fault

LAHORE: A Saudi Airline Hajj flight from Lahore to Jeddah experienced a technical fault during the journey, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing in Karachi.

According to the details, after 2 hours and 47 minutes of flight, the plane experienced a technical fault, on which the pilot contacted the Karachi control tower, and the plane landed safely in Karachi.

According to the airline management, more than 250 pilgrims were on board the Boeing 777 plane. After landing, the passengers were shifted to the lounge and the plane was grounded. The passengers of the plane were shifted to a hotel.

The airline management says that the passengers will stay in the hotel until a replacement plane is arranged.
