New low-cost Saudi Airline launches operations in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: A new low-cost Saudi Arabian airline has officially launched its operations in Pakistan, significantly expanding air connectivity between the two countries.

The inaugural flight of the airline, owned by Saudi Arabia’s national carrier Saudia, landed at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, where it was welcomed with a traditional water salute.

The airline has been approved to operate regular flights to and from Pakistan, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The move is expected to increase travel between the two countries, especially benefiting business travelers, tourists and pilgrims.

The introduction of the low-cost airline comes amid growing demand for affordable and accessible air travel, which will provide passengers with more options while strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
