Saudi citizen kidnapped in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Last Thursday, a Saudi citizen was abducted from Sector F8 of the Margalla police station in the federal capital.

The police have registered a first investigation report (FIR) under Section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of an official of the Saudi Arabian embassy in Pakistan.

Complainant Badr al-Haribi alleged that Abdulwahid Shahid Khan kidnapped Saudi national Hanan Abdullah al-Bashar from the capital.

He has demanded the police recover the abductee as soon as possible and bring the accused to justice.

As per media reports, the police confirmed the registration of the FIR and said that the investigation into the matter has started.
