SBP to remain closed on Thursday

ISLAMABAD: In a move to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced a public holiday.

Accoridng to the notificationissued by the Central Bank, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed on Thursday, February 05, 2026.

Moreover, the notification added that the commercial banks will also remain closed on the occasion.

Earlier, the federal government announced a public holiday across Pakistan on February 5 to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day.

According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, all public and private offices will remain closed nationwide on Thursday.
