ISLAMABAD: The appeal filed by Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri of the Islamabad High Court has been scheduled for hearing in the Supreme Court.

A 5-member constitutional bench headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan in the Supreme Court will hear the petition of Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri on September 29.

The constitutional bench of the Supreme Court includes Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Bilal Hassan.

It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court had stopped Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri from judicial work in the fake degree case, against which he had filed an appeal in the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court had allotted number 4247 on September 20 on the petition of Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri.
