ISLAMABAD: Every year, thousands of visa applicants get tricked by fake agents and fraudsters posing as official representatives. Don’t fall for it. If you’re applying for a Qatar work visa, here’s what you must know.

Qatar Visa Centers are operated under the mandate of the Ministry of Interior, State of Qatar. QVC handles only the administrative and non-judgmental parts of the visa process.

Your official process at Qatar Visa Center (QVC) includes:

  • Facial image capture
  • Iris and fingerprint scan
  • Thumb and palm print
  • Medical check-ups (X-ray, blood, eye test, vaccinations, doctor consultations)

All procedures follow the exact requirements and protocols defined by the Qatar Authorities. For more details, people can visit the official website www.qatarvisacenter.com

Common Scams & Truths: What You Should Know

Q: Do I need to pay anyone for a QVC appointment?

A: No. The employer pays for the visa, and appointments are free. Book only through www.qatarvisacenter.com using your VRN. Do not pay anyone claiming to offer appointments.

An optional Lounge/VIP service is available for a nominal fee. It fast-tracks the process during your first visit but does not guarantee visa approval. Always ask for an official receipt.

Q: Can QVC affect my visa or medical results?

A: No. QVC and QMC staff are not involved in any decision-making. All results and visa decisions are made by the Ministry of Health (MoH), Qatar, and updated directly via the official QVC system.

Q: Can QVC help me get a job?

A: No. QVC is not a recruitment agency. Never pay anyone claiming to offer job placements.

Q: Can I share my VRN or personal details on WhatsApp or calls?

A: Never. QVC only requests information through official channels. Avoid sharing your VRN, passport number, or any personal information with anyone claiming to be from QVC on social media, phone calls, SMS, or WhatsApp.

Just like you never share your bank PIN or OTP with unknown or unverified individuals, never share visa-related details with unauthorized sources.

Medical Referrals – What You Should Know

Post review of the initial screening reports, some applicants, including Lounge/VIP users, may receive a medical referral for advanced investigations, such as:

  • Repeat X-rays (at no cost)
  • Tests at approved external labs or hospitals (may be paid/unpaid)

These are based on Qatar MoH guidelines. External labs cannot suggest additional tests beyond the official referral letter.

Report unauthorized requests to: info.pak@qatarvisacenter.com / info@qatarmedicalcenter.com

All medical reports are submitted directly to the Qatar Authorities. Fit/Unfit decisions are made only by the Ministry of Health
