Police officials said that the condition of the van driver and two children remains critical, raising concerns about their recovery.

Earlier, at least six people, including five women, were killed when a tourist vehicle fell into the Neelum River.

According to Deputy Commissioner Neelum Nadeem Janjua, the incident took place in the Chalana area of the Neelum Valley, where the vehicle fell into the river, resulting in casualties.

The DC said that a child is missing after the incident and authorities have launched a search operation to find the missing person.

The operation was hampered due to the difficult terrain and the depth of the ravine where the vehicle landed.

Deputy Commissioner Janjua noted that difficulties in reaching the scene were hampering the recovery of bodies and assistance in searching for the missing child.
