Schools & colleges closed as Sindh getting 3-holiday

KARACHI: Students in schools and colleges will have an extended weekend because of Pakistan Day and Holi celebrations.

The Sindh government has declared March 23 as a public holiday, meaning all schools and offices will be closed on tomorrow (Saturday).

This holiday applies to schools, colleges, higher educational institutions, and even some semi-government institutions and local councils.

Additionally, there will be another holiday on March 25 (Monday) specifically for the Hindu community to celebrate Holi. This means Hindu employees working in offices, corporations, and local councils will also have the day off, as confirmed by a notification shared by the Sindh government.
