SDO FESCO sentenced to prison for removing electricity meter in Pir Mahal

PIR MAHAL: Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), Sajid Bashir, has been sentenced to one month of imprisonment for unlawfully removing the electricity meter of a resident.

The court order issued by the civil judge Umar Hayat Jawad stated that the accused Sajid Bashir will serve one month of civil imprisonment for willful disobedience of a court order.

The sentence was issued in the case title, “Nisar Ahmad vs. Chief Executive FESCO,” for disobeying the court order dated June 20, 2025.

The SHO Pir Mahal Police Station has been authorized to arrest the SDO and produce him before the court forthwith.
