ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has imposed Section 144 across the federal capital from Saturday in view of growing security concerns.

According to the spokesperson of the ICT Police on Saturday, any political procession or gathering is prohibited under Section 144 without the prior approval of the district administration.

The ICT spokesperson stressed that these restrictions are designed to maintain public order and ensure the safety of all citizens.

The police have urged the public to refrain from participating in any unauthorized political activities that may disrupt the law-and-order environment.

He said that Islamabad Police is committed to protect the life and property of the citizens.

“We ask everyone to cooperate with these measures to help us maintain peace and security,” he said.
