Security forces eliminate militant commander Abdul Baseer in Balochistan

QUETTA: The main leader of the Fitna al-Khawarij, Afghan Khariji Abdul Baseer, was killed in an encounter with security forces on Wednesday.

The security forces killed the main Afghan commander of the Fitna al-Kharij in a successful operation in the Ajram area of ​​​​Saranan, while his Afghan accomplice was arrested.

Based on intelligence information, the security forces traced the commander of the Fitna al-Kharij, Khariji Abdul Baseer, from the Shaban area.

The killed Khariji Basir was the son of the Afghan Khariji commander Noorullah, who had planned several attacks on the security forces.

Khariji Basir was also the operations commander of the formations that tried to infiltrate the Shaban area.

Earlier, on February 22, 2026, a group of 5 suicide bombers of the Fitna al-Kharij under the supervision of Khariji Basir were killed in Pishin by security forces.
