Security forces kill terrorist in Zhob operation: ISPR

ZHOB: A terrorist was killed during an operation by security forces in Zhob district of Balochistan, here on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, security forces conducted an operation in Sambeza area of ​​Zhob based on confirmed intelligence. In the exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed while the other was arrested while injured.

According to ISPR, a huge amount of arms, ammunition and explosives have been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorist. These terrorists were involved in several attacks against security forces and innocent civilians.

The ISPR statement also said that a clearance operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area, stressing that the Pakistan Army and security forces are committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.

While the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Baka Khel area of ​​Bannu district on information about the presence of Khawarij.

According to ISPR, 31-year-old Major Atif Khalil of Sudhanuti was martyred along with two of his men while fighting bravely during the fierce exchange of fire. Abbas is involved, a clearance operation was also conducted to eliminate any possible outsiders in the area.

The ISPR further said that the security forces are committed to end the menace of terrorism and the sacrifices of the brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
