LAHORE: A security guard accused of allegedly assaulting a student from Punjab College in the Gulberg area has been arrested, here on Sunday.
As per media reports, following the incident, which gained significant attention online, DIG Operations Faisal Kamran quickly formed a special team to apprehend the suspect, who had fled the area.
Utilizing modern technology and conducting multiple raids, the police located and arrested the suspect in a city outside Lahore. The investigation in ongoing, with efforts to reach the victim and her family also in progress.
DIG Kamran emphasized a commitment to catching those responsible for such crime and reiterated the Punjab government’s zero-tolerance policy towards assaults.
