Senior PIA employee Jawaid Bajwa receives show cause for fake degree

LAHORE: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has sent a show cause notice to the Deputy Station Manager at the PIA Birmingham office, Jawaid Iqbal Bajwa for the fake intermediate degree.

In a show cause notice, the Administration and Discipline Division of PIA called Jawaid Iqbal to submit show cause in writing within seven days for misconduct under Clauses 54 & 32 of PIA Employees Disciplinary Policy (EDP) of 2019 Appendix-C.

According to the notice, Bajwa submitted a fake intermediate degree which was declared bogus by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore.

PIA employee submitted the requisite documents vide an e-mail dated 12.09.2023 which were forwarded to the concerned Board for verification purposes, it added.

The employee was instructed to submit a written response within the stipulated time, otherwise, further action will be taken as per the rules of PIACL.
