Shaban expected to begin in Pakistan on THIS date

ISLAMABAD: The Islamic month of Shaban is likely to begin in Pakistan on the evening of February 17, depending on the sighting of the moon.

According to astronomical calculations, the full moon is likely to be visible in most parts of the country on this date.

Shaban is the eighth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and holds great significance for Muslims, as it precedes the holy month of Ramadan.
