PIA flight attendant detained for mobile smuggling

LAHORE: In a shocking development, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendant has been caught smuggling mobile phones into the country. Customs officials at Lahore airport arrested the airline crew member, who was travelling on flight PK 264 from Abu Dhabi.

According to customs sources, the flight attendant was found in possession of a large number of mobile phones which were allegedly being smuggled into Pakistan. The authorities became suspicious and decided to inspect the attendant’s luggage, which led to the discovery of the illegal items.

The authorities seized the entire consignment of mobile phones and have initiated disciplinary action against the flight attendant. Customs sources confirmed that the matter is under investigation, further legal action will be taken.

The incident has raised concerns about the airline staff being involved in illegal activities, prompting authorities to tighten security checks for passengers and staff alike.
