LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been shifted to PKLI Hospital after his health deteriorated.
According to sources said that Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi is being told that he has gallstones and will have to undergo surgery on his gallbladder.
Sources said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been at PKLI since October 28, where Dr. Faisal is examining him.
Meher Bano Qureshi, Daughter of Shah Mehmood, has also confirmed the shifting of the vice chairman of PTI to the hospital in a post shared on X.
On the other hand, sources said that the old leadership of PTI is ready to run the Release Imran Khan movement and has also met Shah Mehmood Qureshi at PKLI in this regard.
According to sources, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar, Imran Ismail, Ali Zaidi, Mahmood Maulvi, Sibtain Khan, and other leaders will be present in the movement.
Fawad has confirmed the news in a post on X, saying that they went to see Quershi and also other PTI workers and leaders.
Sources said that Fawad Chaudhry, Imran Ismail, and Mahmood Maulvi met Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
Sources said that the old leadership of PTI will also seek permission from Imran Khan for the movement. The old leadership of PTI will also bring together its old political people from Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sources said that the old leadership of PTI will be seen working practically after the release of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and the said leadership is of the view that the current leadership of PTI cannot expel Imran Khan.
