Shaukat Tarin elected senator from KP

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan Advisor on Finance Shaukat Tarin has elected as senator from Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) on Monday.

According to the un-official results Shaukat Tarin has received 87 votes while ANP Shaukat Amir Zada and JUI-F Azhar Khan got 13, 13 votes respectively. Total votes 122 polled.

It is to remember that former PTI Senator Ayub Afridi resigned from his post amid to elect Shauat Tarin as senator.
