Sher Afzal Marwat expelled from PTI over Swabi rally controversy

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, who has been incarcerated in Adiala Jail for several months, has decided to expel Sher Afzal Marwat from the party.

Khas has directed the party’s top leadership to remove Sher Afzal Marwat, reports say, adding that a notification to terminate his primary membership will be issued soon.

After his primary membership is terminated, Sher Afzal Marwat will be asked to resign from the post of Member of National Assembly (MNA).

It may be recalled that party leaders had complained about Sher Afzal Marwat’s behavior at the party’s Swabi rally.
