Shocking Incident: University Student Allegedly Gang-Raped in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: In a disturbing incident that has shocked the nation, a female student from a private university in Islamabad has allegedly been gang-raped by a colleague and his friend. The incident reportedly occurred within the jurisdiction of the Shalimar police station, specifically in the flat located in Sector E-11-2 of the capital city.

Authorities have taken prompt action in response to the victim’s complaint, with the police swiftly registering a case and apprehending two suspects identified as Zaheer and Daniyal. It has been reported that the suspects not only perpetrated the heinous crime but also filmed the assault and subsequently threatened the victim.

The Shalimar police have assured that further investigation is underway with the arrested suspects, signaling a commitment to ensuring justice for the victim and holding the perpetrators accountable for their actions.

This unfortunate incident comes in the wake of another alleged gang-rape case reported earlier in January within the same jurisdiction of the Shalimar police station. In that instance, a girl recounted a harrowing ordeal where she was reportedly sexually assaulted at gunpoint by a group of individuals, including the accused Zeeshan and his two friends.
