SIALKOT: In a shocking turn of events, a 4-year-old boy named Abdul Rehman has been accused of demolishing a wall and firing shots in a case registered by the police.

The case was filed under the direct supervision of Thana Saddar’s SHO Akram Shahbaz after Jabir Ali complained.

Abdul Rehman’s name, along with 12 others and 15 more “unidentified” individuals, has been linked to the charges of damaging the property owned by Jabir Ali and attacking his family while giving life threats.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), it is claimed that the accused persons came onto the premises of Jabir Ali at Ratta Araiyan in Thana Saddar and destroyed windows and walls before physically beating Jabir Ali and members of his family.

It is mentioned in the complaint that Jabir Ali sustained serious injuries and his mother, wife, and sister-in-law were assaulted while their clothes were torn. The attackers are said to have shot at the victims on the rooftop right before making their escape.

The 4-year-old Abdul Rehman was forced to appear in court, clutching a baby feeder in his hand, to seek interim bail. The family of Abdul Rehman expressed outrage, stating that they repeatedly informed SHO Akram Shahbaz that the child was not present at the crime scene, but their pleas were ignored.

Fortunately, the court has granted interim bail to Abdul Rehman, providing temporary relief to the family. The case has raised concerns about the treatment of minors in the justice system and the need for greater protection of children’s rights.
