Sindh CM calls urgent high-level meeting on Karachi manhole incident

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has called a high-level meeting to be held today regarding the tragic Nipa Chowrangi incident.

A three-year-old child named Ibrahim fell into an open manhole and died.

Additionally, the family and local residents held a strong protest and even blocked the road.

As per details the provincial minister for local government, the Karachi mayor, officials from the Water Corporation, and representatives of relevant departments will attend the meeting.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will be briefed on the investigation into the incident, and proposals regarding Karachi’s municipal issues and their solutions will be reviewed during the meeting.
