KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced a holiday across the province on April 1 and 4.
According to the notification of the Education Department, there will be a holiday on April 1 in all public and private educational institutions in Sindh on the occasion of ‘Hazrat Ali Day’.
The Sindh government had earlier announced a holiday for the Christian community on Monday, April 1, on the occasion of Easter.
On the other hand, according to the notification issued by the provincial government, April 4 will be a public holiday across Sindh on the occasion of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s 45th birth anniversary.

The notification states that all government institutions, corporations, and local councils under the government of Sindh will remain closed on this day.
