Sindh govt Interest-Free Loan Scheme for Students 2024; Details inside

KARACHI: The government is all set to offer interest-free loans to students of the Sindh Agricultural University, Tando Jam, the latest move to promote agricultural education in the region.

The new initiative aims to help students facing financial difficulties and encourage them to pursue entrepreneurial activities in the agricultural sector.

Sindh Agriculture Minister Sardar Bakhsh Mehr unveiled the initiative, emphasizing the importance of equipping young students in the agricultural sector with the resources they need to become future business owners. By offering these loans, the provincial government seeks to create a new community of agricultural entrepreneurs who can drive innovation and prosperity in the province.

Sindh Government Loan Scheme 2024

The Sindh government is taking steps to tackle the issue of climate change with a special focus on agriculture. The Minister also emphasized that by investing in the education of young agricultural students, the Government of Sindh is also investing in the future resilience and sustainability of the agricultural industry of Sindh.

To ensure the effectiveness of the program, the Department of Agriculture of the Agricultural University Tando Jam will monitor the repayment of these loans. Under the new programme, the government is expanding agricultural education by supporting emerging talent.

In a similar development, the government is rolling out the Hari Card project which aims to further support both farmers and agricultural students.

The interest-free loan program is seen as a great initiative to empower young agricultural students and address the challenges of climate change. In conjunction with the Hari Card project, this initiative signifies the Sindh government’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders and ensuring a prosperous future for agriculture in the region.
