Omar Ayub resigns as PTI Secretary General

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub resigned as the Secretary-General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Thursday.

Taking on X, Omar Ayub announced his resignation, saying that he had tendered his resignation on June 22, 2024, through a letter addressed to Imran Khan and Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.

He wrote that Shibli Faraz conveyed my message to the founder during the meeting in jail today, and further changes will be made in the party’s organizational structure on the instructions of the founder PTI Imran Khan.

Senior PTI leader thanked the PTI family, parliamentarians, and Tanzeem Office holders who worked tirelessly for PTI founder Inrab Khan and the party.
