ISLAMABAD: Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry says that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi can play a role in the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

Fawad Chaudhry said in a media interview that yesterday again Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was not allowed to meet PTI founder Imran Khan. He came out of Adiala Jail for the fourth time yesterday but was not allowed to meet. Not allowing the meeting is a mockery of him.

The former federal minister also said that the PTI leadership is immature.

He said that Sohail Afridi should meet other imprisoned leaders including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi will give him positive advice.

Regarding the ban on Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), Fawad Chaudhry said that it is a good thing to ban TLP, it is a violent group, it is a pity why a reference was not filed in the Supreme Court against TLP.
