Soldier martyred, four injured in suicide attack on security vehicle in Kalat

KALAT: A security forces vehicle was targeted on the main highway in the Kalat district of Balochistan, resulting in the martyrdom of one officer and injuries to four others.

According to reports, the Wing Commander was safe, while Naik Attaullah Shaheed and Sepoy Vakil were injured. The blast took place in the Mughalzai area.

After the attack, security forces cordoned off the area, and the injured were shifted to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of Kalat has confirmed that the blast was a suicide attack.
