Soldier martyred in North Waziristan as forces engage terrorists

Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

North Waziristan: In a valorous exchange with terrorists, a soldier, Havildar Muhamamd Zahir, aged 41 and hailing from District Mardan, embraced martyrdom in North Waziristan on Monday. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, apprehending an injured militant during the operation.

The intense exchange of fire resulted in the supreme sacrifice of Havildar Muhamamd Zahir, who fought gallantly in the line of duty. The ISPR conveyed that a sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.

The armed forces of Pakistan remain unwavering in their commitment to eradicate the menace of terrorism. The ISPR emphasized that the sacrifices made by brave soldiers like Havildar Muhamamd Zahir only serve to strengthen the resolve of the security forces.
