Hasan Ali responds aggressively to fan’s mockery, defends catching skills

ISLAMABAD: Grant Bradburn, the high-performance coach of the Pakistan cricket team, has announced his retirement from the position. Bradburn expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with the team and coaches. Initially appointed as the head coach of the national men’s side, his role was later changed along with the entire coaching staff in November 2023. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce a new coaching staff for the upcoming series in Australia and New Zealand. Bradburn, a veteran New Zealand batter, coached the Pakistan team during the World Cup 2023. He shared his pride in the achievements and thanked the players, coaches, and staff, wishing continued success and growth for Pakistan Cricket.

While, Pakistani right-arm pacer Hasan Ali found himself in a heated exchange with a fan who mocked his catching skills. The incident occurred when Ali approached the crowd for autographs after Pakistan’s third Test against Australia in Sydney. A supporter taunted Ali, saying, “Come here, let me teach you how to catch.” In response, Ali sharply retorted, “Sure, come here. Who will teach me how to catch?” The exchange highlights the challenges faced by players dealing with criticism and fan expectations. Pakistan recently suffered a 3-0 Test series whitewash against Australia.
