Special EU flight carrying over 100 Pakistani immigrants land in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The repatriation of illegal Pakistanis from European countries has begun with the first chartered aircraft bringing back 106 immigrants landed in Islamabad today.

According to the documents available with Daily Ausaf, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency [Frontex] flight, coming from Frankfurt via Larnaca, landed at Islamabad International Airport today at 1:40 pm.

The chartered flight carried abroad Pakistani citizens from Germany, Malta, Cyprus, and Austria. A delegation from the European Union also accompanied the immigrants on the plane.

Pakistani diplomatic missions issued emergency documents for travel to illegal immigrants.
