LAHORE: A strong earthquake of magnitude 4.8 has jolted various cities in Punjab. Earthquake tremors have been felt in various cities of Punjab, including Mandi Bahauddin, Phalia, and other areas.
According to initial reports, earthquake tremors were felt in Mandi Bahauddin, Malikwal, Phalia, and surrounding areas.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake’s magnitude was recorded as 4.8, while more information is being obtained regarding its depth and epicenter. During the tremors, people came out of their homes reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.
So far, no reports of any loss of life or property have been received; however, the relevant agencies are monitoring the situation, and emergency teams have been alerted.
