Market sources say that the wholesale price of sugar in Lahore has reached Rs 179, while sugar is being sold at retail shops for Rs 185 to 190 per kg.

In addition, the price of sugar per kg has continued to increase in Quetta. This week, after an increase of Rs 5 per kg in the price of sugar, sugar is being sold at Rs 190 per kg.
According to market sources, the retail price of sugar has increased by Rs 10 per kg during the current month, and the price is likely to increase further due to the difference in demand and supply.
The price of sugar per kg in Peshawar has increased by Rs 10 to 20 in 2 weeks.
Similarly, the price of sugar is being seen to increase in Rawalpindi too.
According to market sources, the price of sugar per kg in the wholesale market is Rs 182 to 185. The price of a 50 kg bag of sugar has reached Rs 9,000 to Rs 9,500.
