Summer vacations announced in colleges and universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has formally announced summer vacations in all public and private universities and colleges across the province.

The Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department has issued a detailed notification in this regard.

According to the notification issued by the department, summer vacations in higher educational institutions in the hot areas of the province will be from June 15 to August 31.

On the other hand, these holidays will be from July 1 to July 31 in colleges and universities in cold areas (winter zone).

The administration has clarified that these holidays will be applicable equally to all public and private colleges, universities and higher educational institutions in the province.

However, in the notification, an important clarification has been made to save the academic inconvenience of the students that the four-year BS program of the universities will continue without any interruption as per their fixed academic calendar.

In addition, all previously scheduled exams and practicals will also be held as per their scheduled schedule and will not be affected by the holidays.
