Islamabad: The administration has announced the closure of Talon News Broadcast.

According to details, a statement issued by Talon News revealed that with extreme sadness and regret, it is being informed that Talon News Broadcast will be discontinued from tonight.

The statement further expressed that making this decision was not easy, and they are aware of the impact it will have on the employees of the organization.

It is worth remembering that Talon News recently started its satellite Broadcast, but without stating any reason, the organization has announced its closure.

Talon News described the reason for closing down the channel as a combination of financial difficulties, tough competition from other TV channels, unreliable viewership ratings, government influence on news reporting, and high expenses, especially in terms of salaries for news anchors.

They explained that they weren’t making enough money from advertisements and government ads to cover their costs, and they struggled to compete with more established channels. Additionally, they faced challenges in accurately measuring their viewership and encountered pressure from the government to report news in specific ways.

Despite paying high salaries to their employees, they couldn’t generate sufficient revenue from ads to sustain the channel. Consequently, the owners made the decision to shut down Talon News to prevent further financial losses. They assured their employees that they would be compensated as per their contractual commitments.
