There was confusion due to the lack of a meeting, but today’s meeting has provided many clarifications. He said that a meeting of the political committee has been called tonight in which important decisions are likely to be made. He said that it is necessary to take the Awami Tehreek further, and the next meeting should be held as soon as possible.
Referring to the Peshawar rally, Sheikh Waqas said that a large number of people participated; however, under some planning, people were placed in the front row who were only instructed to react.
According to him, the protesters were not activists but people brought under a regular plan, whose identity is being investigated. People with their faces covered were also seen in the videos, which makes it clear that this was all a well-thought-out plan. He was speaking on the program ABN News Tajzia and said that
He said that no one disagrees with the protest; the protest should take place in any case, however, the speculations spread in this regard create mistrust among the workers.
Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the possibility of negotiations cannot be ruled out, but every time someone in a protest mood spreads the news of negotiations, it creates a wrong impression. He stressed that the absence of the leadership of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution should not be given a wrong color.
