ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (ISCO) has initiated load management in all its areas due to a decrease in power generation.

According to an ISCO spokesperson, there has been a temporary decrease in overall power generation due to technical issues, as a result of which the available power has fallen short of the demand.

In view of this situation, the company is carrying out load management as required in its service area.

The spokesperson said that as soon as the availability of power matches the demand, uninterrupted power supply will be restored.

He added that ISCO is aware of the inconvenience caused to consumers due to the power outage and is taking steps to control the situation.

ISCO has apologized to consumers for the interruption in power supply and appealed for their cooperation until power generation improves and supply returns to normal.
