BAJAUR: Three innocent children were martyred and five others were injured in an explosion by the Fitna-ul-Khawarij in Bajaur.

According to state TV, this tragic incident took place in the Laghrai area of Bajaur when local children were playing with the explosives left by the terrorists when it suddenly exploded.

Immediately after the incident, the Pakistan Army took timely action and transferred the injured children to Peshawar by helicopter, where they are being treated at CMH Peshawar under the supervision of expert military doctors.

Local police and other relevant agencies reached the spot, surrounded the scene and started collecting evidence.

According to officials, the Fitna-ul-Khawarij has been carrying out such terrorist acts in the past by using mosques, houses and civilian settlements as shields.

They say that this tragedy is proof of how the Fitna-ul-Khawarij has laid a dangerous explosive net in the area.

It should be remembered that in the Tirah Valley, several innocent civilians were martyred and 14 terrorists were killed due to the explosion of explosives stored by the Khawarij.

The Pakistan Army has expressed its determination that with the cooperation of the local population, Bajaur and adjacent areas will be completely cleared of these dangerous elements and their explosive devices.

It should be noted that yesterday, security forces killed 17 Khawarij during an operation in Lakki Marwat area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), security forces conducted an operation in Lakki Marwat based on intelligence information and targeted 17 Indian-sponsored Khawarij.

The security forces effectively targeted the hideout of the terrorists. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Khawarij.
