Three-day local holidays in Nankana for Guru Nanak celebrations

NAROWAAL: A three-day holiday has been declared across all educational institutes in Nankana City as the city is set to celebrate the  556th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

All the Preparations have been completed for the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

According to the district administration spokesperson, 24 government schools and all private institutions will remain closed from November 4 to 6.

Academic activities will also be suspended in Baba Guru Nanak University from November 3 to 6.

According to the district administration, it has been decided to keep the city’s colleges closed in view of the celebrations.

Chief Executive Education Shazia Bano and the university administration have issued an official notification to keep educational institutions closed.
